George Tsoulos, MSc Programme Director
George Tsoulos (GR) Programme Director

Dear students,

On behalf of all my colleagues, I am delighted to welcome you to the MSc programme in Modern Wireless Communications. The programme has been running continuously since 2008, was re-established in 2018, and continues to offer students specialist knowledge of current technological developments. It is integrated into the Department’s long-term development plan and forms part of the University of the Peloponnese’s strategic planning.

The MSc aims to provide postgraduate education, theoretical understanding and practical training in wireless communications. More broadly, it seeks to offer high-quality postgraduate studies and the skills that will enable graduates to:

  • pursue careers in wireless communications, responding to the growing demand for specialised professionals and executives,
  • pursue an academic career in wireless communications by advancing to research.

Through our teaching, we aim to develop analytical thinking, an interest in research and critical judgement, preparing you for a successful professional and academic career while strengthening your sense of social responsibility and academic ethics.

Student life, particularly at postgraduate level, is a unique and valuable experience in which acquiring knowledge goes hand in hand with personal growth. I hope that your studies will be constructive and creative, and that you will achieve your goals. Follow your dreams with enthusiasm, and success will surely follow!

The Programme Director,
George Tsoulos
Professor
